Closed for Thanksgiving Break
Elevate Motion Studio will be closed for Thanksgiving break from Saturday, November 21st, through Sunday, November 29th. We hope all of our dancers and their families have a wonderful holiday filled with rest and gratitude. All regularly scheduled classes will resume on Monday, November 30th.

Studio Closed for Spring Break
Elevate Motion Studio is closed for Spring Break from Saturday, March 27 to Sunday, April 4. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back at the studio starting on Monday, April 5.

No classes today as our little dancers trade their ballet shoes for spooky costumes and trick-or-treating adventures! Stay safe, have a spooktacular time, and we'll see everyone back in the studio ready to dance on Monday!
Wear your Halloween Costume
This week, dancers are welcome to come to class dressed in costume! Dressing up is completely optional, and costumes must allow dancers to move and dance comfortably and safely.
Recital Costume Week
We’re trying on our fall show costumes this week! We encourage all dancers to attend class so they can try on their costumes. If a dancer is ill and needs to miss class, they’ll have an opportunity to try on their costume backstage before the show. We’ll set aside time in each class for photographs and a small parent showcase.
Closed for Columbus Day
The studio will be closed on Monday, October 12 in observance of Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day. Classes will resume as scheduled on Tuesday, October 13.
Closed for Mizzou Homecoming
Happy Homecoming, Columbia! 🐯🖤💛 We are closed this Saturday, October 3 so our families can enjoy the Homecoming festivities. We can't wait to see everyone back at the studio on Monday!
Closed for Labor Day
The studio will be closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day. We look forward to seeing everyone back in class on September 8.
Closed for Independence Day Break
The studio will be closed from July 3 to July 5 for the holiday break. We look forward to seeing everyone back in class on July 6.
Closed for Juneteenth
We are closed on Friday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. Classes will resume as scheduled on Saturday, June 20.
New Schedule Begins Today
Our new schedule begins the day we return from summer break. While we aim to keep most classes consistent, we will notify you well in advance of any unavoidable changes and waive the 30-day drop notice for any resulting conflicts. This week also marks the transition for dancers moving into their new age groups, should they be eligible.
Closed for our Summer Break
We will be closed for summer break from May 23 through June 7. Classes will resume on Monday, June 8. We look forward to seeing you then!
Spring Recital
Our 2026 Spring Recital will take place at Jesse Auditorium on April 18.

Auditions for Sleeping Beauty
The National Ballet Theatre of Ukraine is bringing Sleeping Beauty to Jesse Hall, on March 21, 2026, and they've invited our dancers (ages 5+) to share the stage! We're thrilled about this opportunity and will share more details as we get closer to auditions on December 6.

Salvation Army Christmas Parade
All dancers (except Tall & Small) are invited to join this year’s Salvation Army Christmas Parade!
Routines: Learned in class.
Cost: Free, but prior registration is required (link will be shared closer to the date).
Ages 5 & under: Must be accompanied by a grownup.
Parade attire: All black. We’ll provide tutus, and older dancers will also receive Santa hats.
Parade start: 3:00 PM. Exact meeting time and location will be shared once confirmed.

Pink & Green: Featured Role Rehearsals
This rehearsal is for dancers who successfully auditioned for one of our featured roles in May 2025. Additional dancers may be invited to join, depending on how in-class rehearsals progress.
