9:40 AM Arrival: Creative Dance (Ages 6 and under)
Quick Heads-Up: Our setup window is tight, so expect a bit of organized chaos as we get everyone ready.
What to Wear
Creative Dance (ages 6 & under): normal dance clothes
All others: leotard (any color) so costumes can go over
No leo? Tank + fitted shorts works
Bring shoes if your class requires them
What to Expect at Arrival
Older dancers (ages 7+ and combo class): taken to dressing rooms in small groups; rehearse in costume
Creative Dance (6 & under): sit with a grownup until it’s their turn. Will rehearse in their normal dance clothes.
What to Bring
Creative Dance: must bring 1 grownup to sit with them
Combo & ages 7+: may bring 1 grownup
Audience limit: 1 grownup per dancer
Shoes (if required for your class): bring them and label both (inside)
Belongings: keep minimal; everything backstage must be labeled
Notes
Audience: 1 grownup per dancer only – keeps it a true rehearsal
Be on time: a few minutes to acclimate beats rushing on stage
Setup: tight window; expect a bit of organized chaos
Creative Dance (little ones): watch the show, no costume rehearsal; stay until the end for curtain call practice
Older kids: backstage in costume
Label everything: anything going backstage must be labeled
